spray tan FAQ’s

  • What should I do before my tan?

Check out our Skin Prep Guide for all the steps to ensure your glow lasts.

  • How long will my tan last?

Typically 7–10 days with proper prep and aftercare.

  • How can I make my tan last longer?

Moisturize daily, avoid long hot showers, and pat dry instead of rubbing your skin.

  • When should I tan for vacation?

Book your spray tan as close to your travel date as possible. Usually, 1–2 days before you leave for the perfect bronzed look.

  • When should I tan for an event?

1–2 days prior works best, so your color has time to fully develop.

  • Can men get a spray tan?

Yes! Men are welcome, but must wear underwear or shorts during the session.

  • Will I look orange?

Never! We use top-of-the-line solutions customized to your skin tone for a natural glow.

  • What’s the difference between a rapid and regular tan?

Rapid tans develop in 2–6 hours (rinse sooner for a lighter look, later for deeper). Regular tans take 8 hours to set.

  • How long is the appointment?

About 30 minutes, including consultation, application, and finishing powder.

  • Do I have to have tan lines?

No—it’s completely up to you! Tan lines are optional.

  • Will I still tan or burn in the sun?

Yes. A spray tan does not protect your skin, so always use sunscreen.

  • When should I avoid getting a spray tan?

If you have a sunburn, open cuts, fresh tattoos, or skin conditions that may be irritated.

  • Can I tan while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We recommend checking with your doctor first. Many clients safely tan, but every pregnancy is unique.
